I just found this 2 videos of me (perhaps 2 years old) and decieded to put them online. I would like to hear your comments...

this on is just a effect I "came up with": I think I got a really good patter: I talk about that playing cards actually are not flat, but have 4 sides like a cube in real. that means, that cards not only have two sides, front and back, but 4. so I show the 4 sides (two backs and 2 faces)...

This is just - you guess it - my top card cover pass with an get-ready I "came up with".

Very cool effect. Enjoyed it. Wish I could understand your patter ^^

sorry, first its bad quality and second it would be german...

it would be something like this:

- "cards are not flat, really they are cubes with 4 sides"
- "if I press, I activate the first side of the cube..." (i show all cards face down)
- "if I press, I activate the second side..." (i turn the cards and show they have backs on both sides
- "if I press, I activate the third..." (i show all cards are black tens)
- "if I press..." (i show all cards beeing red aces)

I liked the first video alot. The second one was not as smooth and looked a little unnatural. Beings these were a couple of years old, do still do these effects? I would think that if you are still doing them then they should both look even better. I also like the idea you use for your patter and if you were to dump the cards back on to the deck at the end so that you would be clean, then you could freely show the top cards.

The first effect seems like a great idea, extremely interesting. I agree that the second one does look a bit unnatural, but that being said I still enjoyed it. Keep up the good work.
