Hi,
I have had a heck of a time finding an 18"x18" nicely patterned silk. They seem to be too big, rectangular, too expensive or too cheesy looking. I have tried just about everywhere to find what I am after. I remember them being extremely easy to find years ago in women's apparel sections of dept. stores etc., but it seems they must be out of style because they are no where to be seen, only rectangular or transparent can be found. I just want a classy looking presentation silk is all. If anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated. All the best, -J. |

David Ginn sells an 18" diamond sunburst silk for $8. I have one of these in the 36" size.
Here's a regular link to David's site, not just that one product. Not sure if this is what you are looking for? I've seen tye-dyed 18" silks at Abbott's and from Richard Hughes. Solid colours are available at many dealers (David Ginn, Lock Family Magic, Dazzling Magic, Hughes Magic, Rice's Silk King Studio, Abbott's Magic, etc.) - Donald

Hi:
I recommend you contact Richard Hughes, who is a member here. He does custom work and can get thicker silk like that used in typical pocket hanky. Whatever it is, I'm sure Richard can make it for you. Ron |
