I have a fellow performer that I know who uses a viking pro-table and loves it. I saw him use it at a recent show and I was very impressed. Built drawers and all...nice!
The problem is thta when you call Viking, they don't have any and can't get any. Seems as though whoever use to build them no longer does so anymore. Anyone know of a source? |

What features of the table are you interested in?
Drawers? I didn't think it had drawers... Tell me more Todd. Thanks, Frank

Well, I don't know exactly what the viking table looks like, but based on what I know, this one looks similar, and is 'velcro-compatible' so you can stick things to it. it also has a ditch area where you can get rid of props fast. pretty nice table if you ask me!

Ban,
That's a Lefler table or a direct knock-off. And, YES, the Viking Pro-Table has 2 drawers, and when it's closed it prevents access (for security) into the lower compartment that has 2 doors on it. I own both the Lefler and the Viking, and each has its pros and cons. My Lefler is pretty much indestructable. I'm not one of the guys you read about who've dropped it out of a loading truck 5 feet with no damage, but I've used it in thousands of shows since I got it and it's still brand new-looking. My only problem is that eventually (and I do live in the South where the humidity is slightly less than in a swimming pool) the part that hinges down will expand slightly in width and you may have trouble keeping it up with the little angle pieces. The Viking has no such problems. It's solidly built and won't flex in any way. It is a little tall, and I'm 6'3". I love both, though. The drawer ideas are a plus. Someone once posted about using plastic storage containers as drawers in the Lefler table in the shelves, but I haven't found the containers thin enough to fit in there. The shelves are adjustable, though. Steve |

Guess what? One in stock and it's all mine! I am excited about this as it looks like I can get my entire school shows in the table. Wow- talk about nice!

O.K. I've gotten the table and I must tell everyone that this baby rocks! Talk about fitting an entire show into a table and having lots of room left over. It also allows you to set up even quicker. Just today I used it in a birthday show which before took me about 8 minutes to setup. Using the Viking table made my setup time about 3 minutes!

I always thought that the table was too tall. That was why I never bought it.

True, it's tall but it rocks!

O.K. now for the bad news....After using it only 3 times, I've decided to go back to my TA-DA table. I take so much stuff with me to a show that the Viking table creates another trip. It's also difficult to fit into the back of car with all of the other stuff I have. If anyone is interested in learning more, please PM and I'll see what I can do for you.

Are these tables still available? It's sounds like the best around after reading all the posts? If you could fit your entire act into case would it still be to bulky? Thanks Ken |
