No, you get very basic instructions with the package. Very basic. In the instructions it is stated that a performace dvd is being released "soon".

I just purchased Nemo 1500 from this line and the quality is outstanding.
The only complaint is the lack of the promised DVD (discussed above) and the Paul Stone modified deck that comes with it. The deck supplied should work, but I still prefer performing this effect with a fully loaded deck, especially because my wallet is always loaded with $100 bill. While Paul Stone may have faith in his modified version, I have seen people do wierd things with cards in hand and free reign to stop when they please. I'm not gutsy enough to eat $100 in addition to blowing the effect. I will be making my own loaded deck to go with this. But that is really a minor preference issue. That being said Nemo 1500 is an absolute stunner effect and the new Brooke Signature Edition lends class and creedence to it. Well worth the money, don't hesitate to buy it you won't be disappointed. So well worth it, I am purchasing his other items. |

I feel it is overpriced. You don't really get "wallets". They are more like the little vinyl holders that packet tricks come in, except these are made of leather.

These are much nicer quality than the original wallets, which listed for around $125. Even Bang On sells for $140. While your entitled to your opinion, I think many would agree that $180 is not too much in light of similar effects and the collectability. |

The Nemo Diminishing Cards and Nemo Flying Ring were two of my absolute favorite Ken Brooke items. Despite several versions/modifications/improvements over the years, I think the Nemo Flying Ring is still the best of that genre. Too bad keycases are not too common any more.
The Nemo Diminishing Cards is the best Diminishing Deck ever, in my opinion, with Tommy Wonder's running a very close second. The only problem with the Ken Brooke deck is that it fell apart quite quickly and you found yourself Scotch Taping it back together quite often. But, the one handed visual diminish looks absolutely amazing, especially since you immediately spread the deck after the change. I also very much liked his original Scott York Lamp (not the one that Harold Voit reissued a few years later...that bulb is too big.) I can remember being fooled by Beam Shot way back when it first came out, but then the Scott York Lamp came along, which eliminated the flashlight entirely, and it was really amazing. |

Plastic is plastic and leather is not plastic.
Leather reeks classy and expensive, the other not. Nemo 1500; One of my favorite trade show routines. I've been using Paul Stone's modified stack for nearly two years and haven't run into any problems. Johnny Thompson has some great work on this trick. I hope he releases it someday.

From what I have seen Johnny Thompson do with this is pretty basic. It is a great effect. I just didn't think the wallets were all that nice. Yes, they are leather, but the ones I got, the embossed gold on the back was faded and not uniform in appearance. They are just simple little wallets, I guess I was expecting more.

I have the "It's Better Than Digging Roads " book which came with a double length cassette of Ken Brooke expresing thoughts and telling stories of the early days. It is full of great insight and ancedotes and has a copy of a handwriiten letter on his egg bag routine written to a friend during the war.It also has some other routines in it.Good stuff.
