Ummmmm...Did they leave out the fact that CO2 is going up due to plant life being destroyed through urbanization? So the plants can't use it up as quickly as it is being produced?
I do agree that there is a lot of alarmism in the media. That's what they do. This is just the same type of alarmism type of advertising. If they take away our dependency on fossil fuels we will lost electricity, travel and a whole bunch of other things. They make no mention in the ads about alternative fuels and the fact that we have other sources of power. Why do we as humans always seem to leave out what doesn't support our claims/needs. We tend to ignore all the facts and only use what fits our agenda. To quote from the song "Stupid Girls" by Pink "Where, Oh where have all the smart people gone?" |
