Hey,
I use a copper/silver coin in a lot of my coin work and would really like to be able to use US only coins in some circumstances. I'm thinking either a dime/penny or a quarter/dollar coin combination could work (or the old silver susan b anthony dollar coin with the new sacajawea gold one), but I don't know where to get one. Are any commercially available? I know Todd lassen does custom things but I really don't want to be spending 100+ unless I really have to. I know dime and pennys have a sort of CS insert but I'd like something that looks a bit more professional. Thanks |

Anything by Johnsons Products is reasonable and well worth the price.

Rick, I haven't found a Johnson product anywhere like what he's asking for.
I found a U.S. quarter/Sacajawea Scotch & Soda for $30 here: http://itsmagiconline.com/cart.php?m=pro......mp;p=415 Tannen's has a strange half dollar/GIANT US penny copper/silver for $11 here (scroll down): http://www.tannens.com/cart/cat63.html And Todd Lassen's got a Susan B. Anthony/Sacajawea/quarter copper/silver/brass set for $100 here: http://www.toddlassen.com/coins/lrg/2sil1cop2.jpg But I haven't found a copper/silver using U.S. coins like you want anywhere yet. Have you thought about trying an expanded quarter shell with a Sacajawea? don't' know if that would work right, look good, or stay together like a copper/silver though. You may be out of luck.

Thanks a ton for the links, the quarter/gold dollar scotch n soda may work. I've emailed the schoolcraft guy and lassen about getting something custom made but neither has replied. Frankly at this point I wouldn't mind dishing out some dough but maybe soon I'll get a response.
Thanks again, Michael |

Don't forgey about David Acer's Spare Change. Basically a Sun/Moon with a Penny and Dime. Check your favorite magic supplier, it is around $14.00.

When Einstein said insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, he must not have attempted coin and card manipulations...or am I truly insane?

I have gotten A lot of Johnson's Products and although fine I have found that Cheap Gaffs are not good and Good Gaffs are not Cheap. My opinion is save up a little and get them made for you. Then only you will have them. Again I am not the best coin guy out there but those are my 2 expensive cents.
