I performed an effect called "EPICARD"
yesterday and it was well received. The predictions are recorded on numbered business cards, displayed in wine glasses, and can be given out a souvenirs to remember you. The effect is marketed by ATRICKSHOP.COM I used a XMAS theme for the 3 predictions and will be thinking of "themes" for its future use, instead of "think of a name, number and take a card"

Sounds rather similar to Anthony Linden's "Fortune and Fate" which is a marketed effect usuing three business cards folded over, each one predicting three thoughts of a spectator, along the same lines of mental epic or confabulation. I wonder if this is another case of theft? (I do not know and am merely speculating as I am not familiar with this new effect that started this thread). I also sell an effect that is a slateless version of Mental Epic (a stage version though, not close-up)too, so if anyone is interested, look for it on my web site.

It also sounds a lot like Danny Archer's Triple threat except with multiple recepticles.
I still don't understand how to do something like that when you have separate recepticles. If you put answer 1 into glass 1.... Well, then what?? Can anyone shed some light on this important facet of a non-slate effect? I came up with a great way to sell the single recepticle method that eliminates hitting one the one-ahead principal. In fact, it has 2 great benefits. I've explained the method to Danny Archer and he tought it was very strong. In fact the second benefit I came accross this weekend at a birthday party show quite by accident. It definitely got some gasps from the audience. If you're interested in sharing info let me know. Thanks, frank

Many years ago there was a method on the market, which worked on the "Out To Lunch"-principle and a combination of the Roman numbers "I"; "II" and "III". It was simple and direct.
If you want to know more about it, send me a private mail!
