I've found some 4 in. paperclips, and I think it would be fun to do the 'Linking Paperclips' with them and a huge bill. Trouble is, the biggest I've been able to find are only about 3 in. x 9 in. To keep the proportions of real money to real paperclips, I'd need a bill about 8 in. x 24 in. Anybody know of a source for such huge bills?

Tannens at one time had very good quality huge bills. However, I can't find any source for jumbo bills that are of good quality. You could try taking a modified JPeg image of the front and back of a dollar to a printer. You have to modify the dollar to meet the Treasury Dept. rules. Getting paper stock that is 24" might be expensive, but if it was a prop for a show, it would be worth it. I usually print my own 5 1/2 X 13 bills, from legal sized paper on my printer or take a template to a a printer (Office Max, Office Depot, etc.)
Good luck.

For just a toss-off trick, I don't think I'd go to the trouble of having them printed, but thanks for the suggestions. Tannen's lists Jumbo Bills that are 5.5 in. x 12 in. for $1 each. It looks like that's the biggest I can find, so I think I might go with them.

Just a thought....does it have to be a bill? It could be a "banner" with a message printed on it, ie. "WELCOME, FRIENDS!" for an opening effect, etc.

Have you tried Hank Lee - he has some large dollar bills, but I'm not sure how big.

LOL! Thanks, Mark, for the suggestion of using something OTHER than a bill! Sometimes we get so hung up in how a trick is 'supposed' to be performed that we miss the obvious!
But after thinking it over a bit, I think that, yes, I do still want to use a jumbo bill. I think that's where the 'in joke' comes into it. But thanks for the suggestion!

They sell packs of 75 jumbo bills at Wal-Mart for 88 cents. You get one's, five's, ten's, twenty's, and hundred's. You also get one million dollar bill.
They measure 9 1/4 inches by 4 inches. You can't beat the price. Mike |

There was a poster of a $1000 bill some years back on the market. Both sides were printed. Whenever shopping look at the poster racks in the stores. Maybe they are still available.

Does anybody know if places like Kinko's will allow you to go in and make jumbo, full-color copies of the new currency? I have the Obie O'brien "Big Bucks" routine and would like to use jumbo bills with the new portraits on them.
