I'm attempting to construct my own version of Snow (SNow in China) and was wondering if anyone had some good thoughts on how to keep noise levels down. I have been testing different types of fans, but all make a horrible noise... any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I too have been trying to construct a Snow device. I purchased a super quiet blow dryer from Sharper Image. I think when I get it in a case with soundproof tile ( recording studio material) it will be ok to use but will still need music to cover it completely. My question to you is this is yours going to be 110 volt electric or battery operated. I don't like the idea of a cord runnng across the stage. I may have the solution but I need to do more research. What kind of routine are you going to use, I could use some help in this area. Looking forward to your reply. Magically, Mike - shomemagic - e-mail me at: shomemagic@jobe.net |
