Well this would be in the street and at the mall. I would have a trench coat to hold everything. (some balloons, the needle, an ITR etc)

I just thought I should add that I Perchased Shock FX and the little tip on needle through arm was worth the price of the entire video. There were other great things on the video like Bowling, and pencil through tounge. unfortionately alot of the video was a waste. Eating thumb tacks looked decent on the video but I cant see how it could fool an audience and I figured out how pinhead worked on the first viewing before he explained it. Im not reviewing it right now but if i were to ide give it 2 out of 4.

Hi, I own the needle thru arm and I have run out of all my "special fluid." I have not been able to find more of it. I have checked numerous places and I need someone's help!
I can't seem to get good blood. I got some blood but it was thick and didn't come out smoothly. Thanks!

You can get more "fluid" at any office supply store. PM me if you don't know what to look for.
As for blood, try watering it down. What did you make it out of? Jonathan

I performed needle through arm yesterday and caught the blood in my mouth and on my face as it dripped out of the wound. If your character is a vampire then this performance tip is my gift to you

Back a bazillion years ago when I used to perform NTA, around Halloween time one of the fake blood packages available at every drugstore display was basically a tube of petroleum jelly colored blood red. It stayed where you put it, could easily be wiped off, and didn't stain skin. Clothing was another story. Anyhow, it worked perfectly with the needle as both a lubricant and for, uh, decorative effect. I used to prepare my arm in advance, squeezing a bit into the hole before performance.
I'm not sure if they still make that kind of fake blood, but it might be worth checking. Doug |

Blood recipe, not any new ones. But how to transport it.
Okay, originally I used a wand for the needle, safety first and all! But I have found that with careful work, I was able to make a hollow in the center of a walking stick (I used a branch from a not fully mature walnut tree, the center was a nice soft pit and I was able to use a coat hanger (unbent) to punch and mash the pit far enough for the needle). Jam a bit of rubber stopper in the bottom for a stop. for the special juice, try using a short jar or bottle, one you can seal well, (go to town with your fimo or sculpty to decorate it and also give it some protective coating. Just make sure you can get the lid on tight! Have a bit of your speical stuff in the bottom with a couple cotton balls on the surface, you will open the jar, remove (wipe the edge a bit) apply to your arm, and continue! As long as you can close the lid tightly, it will stay ready! Hope this helps Kay

Well, I didn't make the blood, I bought it a a Party City party store. I asked for a tube of Halloween blood from the back section of the store where they sell stuff for Halloween. But now I don't need to buy anymore because I tried the recipe and it worked well. Thanks again!

A message to Harryandersonfan: The needle I use came with instructions that suggest bending your hand inwards sharply at the wrist during the penetration. It gives you just a little more skin to work with.
I have the same trouble as you but find this helps. Billy |
