Some sad news. Well known Canadian (Vancouver B.C.) ventriloquist and magic enthusiast (and very good friend of mine)Peter Rolston passed away Tueday (June 6/06)due to a ruptured spleen. He was 70 years old. Peter hosted a local popular Children's TV show on BCTV from 1964 to 1979 called "Pete's Place" and has been a regular performer on Vancouver's entertainment scene ever since. He recently played several dates on the cruise line circuit. In the last several years Peter had also acted as booking agent to myself and other local entertainers. I for one will miss his strange sense of humour and long phone conversations discussing magic, old times and other performers. A memorial service for him will be held on Tuesday June 13th at the Shriners Hall in Burnaby, BC (anyone interested can PM me for the address and time). He will be missed.

Peter was certainly one of a kind. He always had that impish sparkle in his eyes. I will miss him...my inspiration, my teacher, my mentor and my friend.
