My doves have been sitting on there egg for the last 20 something days, and it turned out that the egg is completely hollow?!!? I don't know how that happened. It most strange. And Kinda sad lol.

I own 7 doves and they are constantly laying eggs. Their cage usually has 6-10 eggs in it at all times. It has been like this since I've had them (2years) and they have yet to have a egg hatch.........so I'm guessing it is not unusual.

Bryan, with that many doves and eggs for 2 years, my guess is that you have all female birds. The law of averages would say that at least one egg would hatch.
