I would like to come up with a list of books, props, or vids on all the possible methods of walking through a mirror or bars etc.
I already know of:

Don't forget David Copperfield's Walking Through a Mirror.

I saw the one where he goes through the jail bars in alcatraz, but his effects aren't in print are they??? that is what I'm looking for is the methods. MIKE

I have one I have designed that I call "Specter Glass". It will be part of my upcoming book Obscuring Reality. I won't post a link to my site, because I don't want to breech the Café's rules on advertising.

If I am not mistaken Copperfield's mirror illusion was a John Gaughn creation (It's late so that is probably wrong, please correct me if it is). And was made available on a VERY limited basis for a select group of performers.

Andrew Mayne has a slight obsession with mirror passages, he had something like 3 or 4 mirror passages in one book (Illusion Book, I believe). So you might want to check out his stuff for ideas and theory behind passage illusions.

Try contacting Andre' Kole Productions, http://www.andrekole.org/index.html & maybe they can put you in touch with Michael Christian. He is no longer on tour with Andre', but I am sure they know how to get ahold of him. Make sure you mention that you would like to contact him about his mirror illusion. They might be able to point you in the right direction.

Nick, when is your book due?

Realistically, I am looking at September, but due to the many setbacks I have had already, I am hesitant to set anything more specific. Keep your eyes peeled, once I move forward with printing I will update my website, and the release date to reflect that.
