My theory about crop circles is that aliens make some of them, but they use the same techniques humans do: stomping around on boards with rope handles.

And say what you want about OJ, but he's showing his persistence. I truly believe he'll track down his wife's killer if he has to search every golf course in the world!

Since we're way off topic anyhow, I must take issue with Jonathan's invocation of Ockham's Razor. O's R says that the simplest explanation is the reasonable one to believe. But why? Because the universe is a tidy place? Says who? Because simpler accounts are more convenient for us? What does the universe care for our convenience?
Just a philosophical point.

Occam's razor suggest the best likely, not the only, solution to a problem utilising the simplest and fewest hypotheses. You CSI fans might have caught this principle in a recent episode, "When you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras."

As others have pointed out, in practise Occam deals with probability rather than certainty -- such that Occam might conclude that your stunning Top Change really is the result of simple Magic, rather than complex -- if hidden -- manipulation
