Hi, I am looking for suggestions for a kid show.
After a warm-up performed with an everyday costume I would like to change it in a bit "creating" a new character ( let's say something like Merlin or Potter or even something easier with a wig and a pair or large glasses.....) I would like to do this in few seconds passing behind a curtain on scene or raising a large sheet and doing the change behind it. Any suggestion on how to do it or any source where I can find all the details? Thanks a lot/Fabio |

Quick change! Check out Yosuda's "Art of Costume Changing" DVD.
Here is a link: http://www.elmwoodmagic.com/?nd=full&key=3069 It is part of the "Greater Magic Library" series. You will learn everything you will need to know. You'll also need a good seamstress to help you out. You might check with Pricilla Mooseburger (Trisha Bothun) at http://www.mooseburger.com/pricilla/index.html She is a former Ringling Brothers Circus clown and should be able to help you. Good luck with the change! Mark. |

We offer ready made gimmicks for this type of quick change. You can see them, along with a video at http://www.chameleonfabrications.com
All the best, Rob |
