Has anyone seen on before. I do a golf premised sponge ball routine ending with a ball and club head. I was wondering if there has even been a manufactured appearing golf club? If there is anything else that can appear based on golf please provide link.
Thanks Ken |

Fantasio has a DVD out called My Ideas Vol.1 he shows you how to make an appearing golf club. It's very easy.

Russ Walsh did an entire act with a golf theme. Jay Marshall bought the act when he needed some more time for a gig he was doing. Horace Marshall also made one at one time.

To expand on what Richard said,
Russ Walsh is credited with creating the Appearing Cane. It was made from coiled steel film, and was the basis for Fantasio's later plastic (polyester film) canes and candles. The "Flash Appearing Golf Club" was a logical adaptation that Walsh made. Fantasio has now come up with an easy, and inexpensive, way to adapt his canes to make an Appearing Golf Club. I don't know of any pre-made units. Other golf effects - Dancing Golf Club (At one time, Creekmore made these.) Multiplying Golf Balls (This may be redundant with the sponge balls.) Color-Changing Golf Ball ( " ) Hole in One (I think that's the name McComb used for his Golf Ball thru Silk.) Golf Tee Productions Two in the Hand, One in the Pocket....with Golf Tees Golf Ball Marker Productions (aka "coins" ) Golf Score Prediction (I'm thinking of a Confabulation type routine here.) Best

Yes, there is an appearing golf club on the market, but for the life of me I can't remember where I saw it!
If it comes back to me, I'll post the link. Sorry. Dave

I know of no video of this. Walsh has been out of business for 30 yeas at least. You can find some photos of Russ doing the act if you hunt hard.

To make this string complete, Russ Walsh also made a plastic set of multiplying golf tees. I have been looking for years for a set and cannot find a set. Russ Walsh died many years ago, his business was sold to John Snider, I believe, but all he did back in the late 1980's was sell the remaining stock. He never attempted to manufacture any of the Walsh products. This seems to be the norm in magic, same with P&L, and many other old great manufacturing businesses. It is to bad, but that is the way it seems to be with magic. |

I believe Walsh's business was sold to John Fabjance, who for a while made the canes again. You can do a google and find him.
