I have performed magic for much of my life, and have more recently been focused on creating new and original illusions. Unfortunatly, I do not have the resources to be able to fund the building of my ideas but I feel that they have a lot of potential.
I would like to share my illusion concepts with some of the bigger illusionists such as Reza or Criss Angel. I'm sure they get lots of e-mail, so how would I make a contact for them to actually take me seriously? Do any of you have connections that can help me get my ideas through to them personally, other than the public e-mail addresses listed on their official websites? Thank you very much for your help and ideas. With Respect, David Revillusionist |

I don't know for a fact, but I would think that Reza might be more quickly approachable. Criss, now that he is a big star, has a production staff to field all of the emails, etc. that are addressed to Criss. With him, I'd look at his consultants, who are the people bringing ideas/tricks/etc to him.

In magic, like every other artistic and creative field, if you've got the real chops your work will get noticed.
Getting taken seriously isn't dependant of a secret email address, it's dependent on the quality of your ideas. You may have to part with one or two of your ideas in unsolicited mail-outs, but if they like what they see and find it truly original, you'll hear from them. |

Here are my 2 cents....
Do you think that you might find someone that has the money to build them to try them out before you try and sell the big guys your ideas... For instance, Kevin James was performing the floating rose before David Copperfield was interested in it... I think a lot of big time guys want to see the idea in working form ...unless your already an established builder... I could be wrong in the way I think... Anthony |

I also think a working demo is what is needed. Perhaps you can make a deal with a builder to build it and share the profit should the illusion be picked up. Right now your best bet is to have your illusion 3d modelled..in which case you and I can talk!pm m
