I find it in poor form for someone to say they have limited copies to boost sales and then reprint. I think it was a dishonest ploy in this day and age of DP works. I assumed that would happen it does not surprise me he was doing us a favor by reprinting the notes.
Anyone who fell for that tactic should ask for a discount or a refund. I know if I bought those notes, thinking they were special and limited, I would be quite ticked that to make a few more bucks he just reprints. Best he did not even say they were limited and something for him to learn in the future. I don't think anyone would ever believe any claims he makes in the future about 'limited runs.' Quote:

O.K. Point taken, Mghia. I apologise. I will not print any more notes. Those who have ordered today will have them shipped immediately. No more notes will be sold after the end of this week, October 28th. I only had them printed because of all the requests I was getting. Thank you for the wonderful feedback on the notes from my loyal customers! Good Luck!

One thing I would like to see different is if the dealers didn't start their own threads on their products. For example, the Bigger Wands thread was started by a customer, not the dealer, Creative Magic.
I do know someone who bought a Jolly Roger product in spite of his constant self-promotion. They were offended by his pushy-ness. I guess that customer and I share the opinion that it is better to let others boast of you (or in this case, your products), rather than doing it yourself. (In marketing, this is why my website and sales letters are packed with pages of quotes from testimonial letters. I'd rather let my past customers sell my new customers, than me talk myself up to the extreme. And I love to get inquiries because of referrals, etc. That tells me it is not just me promoting / advertising that gets me bookings. Others believe in me, too. But that's just a style I personally prefer for selling, and for buying.) However, this is not to say that every post that Jolly Roger does is a commercial. He shared some real genuine content in the thread about longer parties (U.K. style done in the U.S.), and on some other threads. I don't see him as only a "taker". - Donald P.S. Want to read something interesting on a related topic of over-selling? Take a look at section 6 of this newslet......Humbert. (This newsletter came out on October 15/06).

Hi Harv,
Not sure on what parts of the Café you hang around in, but all those Nicholas mentioned have all been very good about sharing their magic knowledge and assistance to many of us here in the Café for several years in some cases. In this thread of now over a hundred posts JR has posted 35 times. That is a big percentage. Take a look at Axtell's new product on page 2 in the Little darlings and I think you'll see quite a huge difference in how much he has to push threads about his products along. Like Donald above mentioned how much better is it have others raving about your products instead of the seller having to continually push it in others faces lest they be forgotten? These are my thoughts and I'm sticking to them.
