Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had ever heard or seen "The Card Artist". The website says:
"Extreme Card Manipulation & Flourishes! Amazing shuffles, cuts, fans, vanishes, productions, color changes and more! Cards leap from the deck, visually change color, appear and disappear. It's not a magic show, it's a visual tour-de-force with a deck of cards!" http://www.sonicbids.com/epk/epk.asp?epk......cobrand= Apparently he's performed on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. K.C. |

Apparntely it's this guy too...
http://www.turbotom.tv/ I dunno how to take this guy, wasn't anything orginal in the performance video, The onlything I hadn't seen before was were he tossed the card in the air and it changed. And all the stuff I've seen better. But at least he's doing what he likes to do... so good luck to him I guess. |

He's good, not great.
Very choppy 360 spider. There are a lot of people on these forums who are better. |

Wow, that guy is not very good at all. lol (Co-garbage-ugh, excuse me I had to cough) Music in the video was awful, routining was horific, skills...hummm...I'll just say it looks like he hasn't been doing xcm for long. more power to him though, he'll get better with more experience.

Not bad, but needs improvement. Although for laymen, I'm sure he's great, and I'm sure that's his audience as well.
He was pretty smooth on most of his things, just needs to improve on fluidity. And those fans need work. His "Perfect Production", as I think it's called, needs a bit more speed on the actual production, if you do it too slowly it is easily figured out, and he should move his hand around as well, because if you keep it still while doing it, the audience is more likely to figure out where the cards are coming from. There's a couple other small things, but I need to go, so I wont write them down. Overall, not bad. VC

Also, the music didn't fit with the video too well. It worked ok, but it could have been better.

The most freaky thing about this is I just found my old Simon & Garfunkel Album and started listen to "Mrs. Robinson", then I paused it to watch the video, and it's the same music. Jeez.
And yes, as Vinnie says, for laypeople he probably is really good. It takes much to impress cardicians, and I am sure that isn't his goal.

TurboTom? With that mustache, he reminds me of the amazing Danny Trejo.
