I see that many on the Café are fans of the SAW and all of Outlaw's products. Are these suitable for a beginner in magic/mentalism? What would you recommend for impromtu effects. I typically find myself at business lunches or dinners and would like to spice up the experience with a short performance / effect. Thanks for any feedback you can provide.

The Outlaw wallet is a very innocent looking leather card case that gives you a very easy closed wallet peek and is an excellent P.W. wallet.
It would be a good choice for you.

The S.A.W. allows for similar uses as the Outlaw, only with different methods.

The S.A.W. also has some additional features that could be used for more advanced routines that don't involve a peek of P.W.ing.

The price difference is substantial. For now, as a beginner, I would get an Outlaw and spend the difference on books.
