The flyer sounds fascinating ( don't they always ), but has anyone seen or know more of this effect ?

Text says :


A pack of fifty-two playing cards is freely shown and slipped into the pocket of a spectator in your audience.

The entire audience is then taken on a ‘Mind Trip’ an entrancing journey into the centre of their imagination – during which they come across a tree – you claim to have been there before them and have carved a number and geometrical forms onto the tree – the audience are asked to make a mental note of what they see.

One participant is asked to look at the foot of their imaginary tree, where you have previously placed a single playing card – in their imagination they look at the card and remember its name.

The entire audience are now counted out of their ‘Mind Trip’ and asked “Who saw a certain two figure number?” – many hands go up; “Who saw certain geometrical forms?” Many more hands go up – it seems incredible, as this has happened inside their own minds!

Finally the participant who saw the playing card in their mind’s eye is asked to identify it as the full pack of fifty-two cards plus the Joker are shown face upwards – the indicated card is removed and held by the participant while the backs of the cards in the pack are shown – let’s say it is a blue backed pack. The participant turns over the card they only visualised – it has a RED BACK in stark contrast to the rest of the pack! Please note: No rough & smooth, sticky substances or long & short cards are used. Positive results at every performance – the audience will swear no trickery is involved. Highly recommended.
