Hi guys,
What are you opinions on this book? Will someone please give me a review? Is it worth that much money for a book? Happy Holidays, nalu |

Use the 'Search' facility and you should be able to find previous reviews. It's been well covered.

I see the search system is not its normal helpful self. SO...
Stunners Plus! is a fantastic book. It is loaded with tons of mental magic and or mentalism which is very workable. You will use this material or at least it will get you thinking about a presentation you had not considered. Larry is a very creative thinker when it comes to both deceptive methods and compelling presentations. Stunners Plus! is a treasure trove of material. If your desire is to actually perform mentalism or mental magic this book is easily worth many times the price. How fortunate are we to have all this information in one place! Last words "If your desire is to perform, buy it!" Cheers, Tom |

I loved the book! I should say that I was hesitant because in the past I felt that some of the stuff I had seen from Larry was a bit to tricky looking for my taste, but now that I've gone through the book I have changed my mind. Yes, there are things in there that stand out as mental magic, but there are some killer ideas in there, too. I generally dog-ear the pages when I see an effect I know I will use or can rework to my style... well, Larry's book has more dog-ears than a kennel club. I've already added one effect to my opening set and I'm currently working on revamping three other of his effects so I can include them, too. You won't be sorry if you get yourself Stunners Plus.

I agree with Scott Guinn's review of this amazing book. Having just purchased it over the holidays, it is well worth the price being charged for it. I am so glad it is being offered again to the magic community in what is to be another limited pressing. Don't pass this one up. If you snooze, you loose.

Can someone write a list of the best effects from this book?
Is it possible to make all the effects or do you need to buy some expensive props? I have several of L. Beckers effects and I'm very glad that I have them! |

Best effects? Very difficult question.
There are NO throw aways. You could literally open the book to any effect and perform it with confidence knowing that it will have a wonderfully mysterious and entertaining effect on the audience. Ted (Leondo) |

I have the original Stunners in paperback what is added in Stunners Plus. Do I need Stunners Plus since I have Stunners?

Over the course of years I've accumulated a small library. I'd have to say I keep coming back to re-read effects in this book. If you are a book person, and love to read effects, and think through them. Then this book is a must have. Most all of the effects are doable. Probably 20% are geard toward everyday hobbiests, 30% toward parlor and serious hobbiests, 25% toward the magic worker and pro-level, and the rest I havent read.
This is a must own book if you are into mentalism and serious magic. Definately, buy it, you will not regret it. |

You can go to http://www.stunnersplus.com and the site will tell you what's new and included in Stunners Plus. Basically, it includes the original stunners, new effects created by Mr. Becker since the release of Stunners, and a section on the effects and material he has sold over the years. Like everyone else here, I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone. |

At first I was a little disappointed when I purchased Stunners Plus--It seems that 80 percent of the material was already covered in my copy of Stunners--which I love. I had to decide which copy needed to make space on my bookshelf. I decided to keep the Plus version. The aditional material is well worth it.
Expensive, but highly worth it! Take care, Craig Wilson |

I recently got Stunners Plus! and I love it. One of the first effects that hooked me was Ace Revisited on page 397. I encourage SP! owners to check it out. In the process of getting setup to learn the effect, I tried to obtain the necessary large print item. I found that the referenced item is no longer available. I found the proper replacement and made up a prompter to work with the new version. I then emailed Larry Becker the info I had and I asked him if I could post it on the Café. He agreed as long as I didn't post the info publicly and didn't divulge the mechanics of the effect. So, if anyone that owns Stunners Plus! is interested in Ace Revisited, email me off line and I'll make it available to you. It's definitely worth looking at. Best of luck.
Bob
