You can cut down on a LOT of weight by using 1X4's to look like 4 x 4's.. and you can add a pin to the fake barbed wire... and cut down on wear and tear on the cloth and costumes and the inside of cases or car as opposed to working wiht real barbed wire or razor wire.

Transporting it can be a pain, but most of the manufacturers can provide a hat box to carry it. It is much less expensive and looks better. Now I think some on here are confusing razor wire with barbed wire. These are two different types of materials, one is to keep cows in an area and the other to keep criminals in jail. If you guys are talking about barbed wire, go to Ace Hardware. They sell it by the foot.
