I have heard of a puzzle where a ball with a string running through it will go down and then up, stop, repeat, etc.

Does anyone know the name of this puzzle and where to purchase it?

It's called "Cubio", and you can find magic manufacturers who carry it by clicking on the highlighted text.

Cubio doesn't go up against gravity. Is that what your looking for?

Bob Solari's website has it but it's not a ball, it a block. I forget the name. If I remember I'll post it. You hold the string in a vertical position with both hands on each ends of the string, the block will slide down the string by gravity. But you can cause the block to stop at any position as it slides down the string. You can hand it out to the spectators and they won't be able to do it. But the block doesn't go up the string. I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to.

I've never seen this illusion. Spooky!

And the non-moving / moving pictures, in the friends section, are unreal.
