I've seen this old effect advertised in the Pentagram and I wondered if anyone had a copy of it / know if it's any good?

The effect as described is that by taking random letters called out by the audience a name is spelt out. This turns out to be a name previously predicted.

Sounds familiar...
I mean,the whole concept of having spectators called out letters.
I know that Derren Brown[here that name again!] is doing something along this line in his show,but i'm sure that i have read about it somewhere.
