I'm in the midst of planning my new show, I want each trick to flow together so smoothly it seems like one big trick.
I have just started today, so I am currently working on the four coins to glass routine from Modern Coin Magic. I was thinking of using it as sort of a counting game that they always mess up on! At the ned I would say something like "Okay you say there's four in the glass, you sure?" And a large sponge/block with the letter 4 appears as I pour it out. Is this possible, will I have to make it own my own... I don't think it would be that hard with a bit of misdirection and palming. |

Other than, being a math-phobe, I think perhaps your target audience should not be the ones to mess up the counting game, you might consider just a sponge shaped 4- those are available form a number of the dealers, or look in the craft section of your local (I cannot remember, was it the Canada club store) version of Wal-Mart for the tub of sponge shapes, in letters and numbers intended for sponge painting with the kids.
Oh, and anything IS possible, it sounds like you are on the right track. k

Remember, NEVER MAKE the MESS UP THE SPECS FAULT, you should entertain them not challenge them and make them feel dumb. Do NOT EMBARASS ANYONE!
The best way around this if you want the desired ooopps effect is to do a struggling / bumbling magician I may be wrong but that's how I go about
