Steve,
I love your "wizard" patter. Here’s my patter for HH. In short, I talk about being charitable and giving to others. "When we share our wealth with others the good we do, symbolized by these two coins, shall always return to us." I put the coins in a purse to symbolize giving the money away. For the end, when all the coins vanish, I explain; "There may come a time when you have no monetary wealth to share. It's then that you can still share you greatest treasures. Your time. Your ear to listen to another’s troubles and your heart, for loving someone is the most generous act you could ever do for them. When we love others and that love is returned, we receive our greatest reward.” Dave

The Steve Bacho patter is the best I have seen. The HH set is kind of a prop in search of a plot. You have ten different ways to do what is really a single effect. While it is a real bargain at the shop I find there are plenty more routines to do with various combinations or subsets of the HH set. Just look in Bobo.
The repeated effect starts to look like Jerry Sinefeld's opinion of a magician, "Here's a quarter. Now it's gone. Your an idiot." Though I was impressed with the Steve Bacho patter. |

Nice story line Steve, I don’t think I would have ever scripted my HH routine into a poem because it wouldn’t fit my character, but I can see your version working well with kids.

I don’t have an earth shattering presentation. Pretty much in the same vein as Magic Balay’s . However , I combine the effect with Michael Mode’s Nun None effect from about 15 years ago. At the end, when I ask how many they really think are in the hand, no matter what they say, I open my hand to show the nun finger puppet standing on my palm as I make the appropriate comment based on their answer.
