I am looking for a source for the thin round metal shims that are in coin shells. Does anyone know where to find them?

I use some4 thousanths shim stock that my dad brought home from his machine shop. This works great!

Typing 'shim material' into the Café search (always a good idea) revealed this -

I agree with MintonMagic. I went to a local machine shop and spoke to the owner. I told him what I was looking for and he was able to provide me with various shims. In face he had drawers full of them.
