Colon, Michigan, the magic town which is also home of Abbott Magic and FAB Magic. It is full of magic history and a great place to visit.

The Outta Control Magic Show inside of WonderWorks in Orlando. We are going full-blast and have been since June of 2000. Two shows nightly, seven nights a week, 365 days a year.

I'd go see the Wonderworks show...
I hear the Bald magician is pretty good! I'd also consult Magictimes.com for links to any and all Magic Shows in the U.S. |

Other than the above mentioned magic hot spots, some of the following might be of interest. Though not permanent attractions, if you can get two sponsors and an invitation, the ultimate close-up convention is the Fechter's Finger Flicking Frolic Convention in Buffalo, New York (FFFF). Also The Columbus Magi-Fest is a great Ohio convention. If you go to the All Magic Guide and from there to Craig's Magic Calendar you will find a list of dozens if not hundreds of magic conventions and magic events all across the U.S.A. There is something magical happening if not every week, at least every month of the year.
In my opinion the Le Grand David show in Massachusetts is a must see, also Ray Goulet's Magic museum over in Watertown Massachusetts. You might also drop by some of the local IBM or SAM meetings when traveling the states. Many of them have museums, auctions, lectures, conventions, and magic shops associated with them. If your travels take you to Michigan please stop by my magic shop and museum at The Timid Rabbit in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We are home to IBM Ring 333 (The Fox Ring) which meets every 4th Tuesday of the month at 7:30PM. Our doors are always open to fellow magic fans. Take care and take cards Antony Gerard |

I forgot to mention the Salon de Magie. Ken Klosterman's Museum of Magic in, I believe, Loveland, Ohio. His collection was featured in the Smithsonian magazine. It is a most fabulous collection and one that you must see if at all possible. Take care and take cards Antony Gerard |

Frank,
I think you took a speed reading class and flew past it, because the Magic Castle is mentioned in the very first post. But then maybe your vision is just blurred with that vest you have.... How's the Bakersfield group doing? You still attend? Steven
