Would any sensible performer really want to 'mess' with a spectators watch like this?
I'm no great mentalist but I predict lawsuits! I'm saving my money - but I dare say Alakazam will still be getting it - but on somting else! |

Hello,
I don't have much time to write right now, but I own this product since about one month. Yes, it works with most watches. No, the watch won't be hurt. If you like watch routines you will love this. You can do the routine that Yves Doumergue presents or use Kronos to improve your favorite watch routine. It really is a crazy tool, I couldn't believe my eyes the first time I saw it in action. I'll say more A.S.A.P. |

Important question - is the black electrical tape a necessary part of the illusion or just used to spice up its authenticity for the demo video?

I saw this in the flesh yesterday....
The effect is good, and the black tape isn't necessary. |

I'm glad to hear the tape isn't necessary - running without being chased and all that.
It's their watch, you're holding it by the band... in my opinion a lay person shouldn't really need that extra assurance to know you're not physically turning the dial.

I have this and it's superb. It's clean, you can do it with any QUARTZ an alogue watch. There are a few red herrings in the demo which made me pleasantly surprised by how small the gimmick was. It won't damage the watch if you use it sparingly but I have been told by a watchmaker that prolonged and continual usage will damage the movement.
