My wife and I went to Atlanta this past weekend and believe it or not saw Dave Dee perform his Psychic Salesperson Mindreading show and I have to say it was wonderful entertainment. He did about a 30 minute show and every minute was just great fun. The last routine left me scratching my head. He had 4-5 people randomly chosen from the audience. Each person gave a bit of information. One person a childhood friend, any city in the world, favorite animal, a number and favorite word. At the end he had an envelope opened that had been in the audience the entire time and inside sealed in tape and stapeled between two pieces of cardboard was a piece of paper maybe the size of a 5X7 note card. Open it up and sure enough all the information was there. The prediction was written as a story, like this sort of...
"Today traveling to (randomly chosen city) with my best friend (random name)we passed through a security gate and gave the pass word (random word) etc..." I know I've read this in a book someplace but I don't remember where. Does this sound familar to anyone else? |
