Hi all,
I wasn't quite sure where to post this, but I'm considering using it in my kid shows so... Just curious: Anyone have experience with Pavel's sliding ring effect? In short, here's the basic effect: You show a white ring on both sides, and place it into a sort of "envelope" with two clear compartments. For both compartments, there is an opaque cover that swings up so you can't see the ring. However, there is a whole in each cover so when you pretend to make the ring "vanish", the audience can see you are sliding it to the other compartment. (think Die Box type of effect) This sucker effect continues until finally, they insist you drop both covers at the same time. When you do, they see the ring has changed color to green on both sides. You "search" for the white ring, and it is found hanging on your back. Anyway, has anyone used this? I'm going to try it out at my next show, but I was just wondering what sort of reactions other have got. Thanks in advance for the comments, Landon |
