Hey Vinnie, have you actually read all these books and studied all those videos in just 2 months? You need to get a life
Seriously, it's one thing to own all the material and quite another to absorb it and put it to use. I see you have a few items that I don't own. I'll have to come visit your library one of these days.

Hey guys, and like I said above, I have not read all of that yet. Lol, that would be insane! I have only read some of the lecture notes from Ice, Pete White, and General Grant. (And if I could say something real quick, General Grants Lecture #2 has to be the most gripping lecture notes I have ever read! Its written in such a way that you cant put it down even if you wanted to! GREAT buy!)
And Dave, I understand COMPLETELY what you mean. I really am getting a lot from the books/dvds I have read/watched already. But once more, I am not even 1/4 the way finished. LOL. Maybe I'll be done by 2008. =] Oh, and your welcome over anytime! =] Just be sure to bring your Adair Encyclopedia of Dove Magic 1-5! ;-) -Vinnie |

Agree with the comment about General Grant's notes. He doesn't get around much anymore but if you get a chance to meet him, don't pass up the opportunity. He's got to be one of the nicest guys in the business and he's never too busy to help you out. I met him years ago and we became instant friends. A few years ago I was having a problem with one of his effects and he called me on the phone to help. We talked for about an hour while I did the effect and he walked me through every step until I had it perfect. What a guy.
Didn't mean to take this off topic but I have such a deep respect for the General that I thought it deserved a comment.

I was wondering if anyone seen "General Grants' Dove Video 2 tape VHS set Act/Lecture"? Or is it the same as his "How to Make a Living Stealing...Dove of Course." Are there any other DVDs anyone can recommend to me I do not have for dove manipulation? Or do I have the top ones already? |

Recently I found an unlabeled video tape in my collection. A guy with a british accent shows lots of dove illusions. One is making a dove disappear from a newspaper. Have a dove come from fire, balloon, etc. He says his invisible dove harness is padded for comfort to the dove. Does anyone know who he is?

I just got Tony Clarks Unmasks 1 & 2, and Behind the Seams. The more I learn the more I want to learn! It actually doesn't seem as hard to perform as I thought, though I taking care of the doves come first, and will be tons of work.
