Does anybody know how to find lost cats because I lost one of mine outside?

Go outside with a big can of wet cat food... Call their name, and open the can as loudly as you can... Leave it on the porch if the cat doesn't come in a few minutes.
Leaping Lizards!!! Who knew it was possible.

Unfortunately, you don't "find" lost cats. Cats are very independent creatures, and will not stay where they don't want to. The best you can do is put food outside, and hope the cat decides to come back on its own. My cat did this when I was away on a business trip. She decided she didn't like the person taking care of her and stayed away until I returned. Of course, one thing you have to worry about with putting the food outside is all the other cats (and possibly a raccoon or two) that may show up!

The only stupid question is the one not asked.

We were staying in a motel for awhile (long story, you don't want to know) and our cat managed to get out. Was gone for two days, with me going out and looking at regular intervals. Came back from one fruitless search to find the cat sitting outside the window of the room <next> to ours with a look of; "Where the heck have YOU been?" on her face!
Same cat, staying at a friends house for awhile (same story, you still don't want to know) woke up to find the cat hanging from the screen on the outside of the window! Never did figure out how she pulled that one off!

Call a dog and it'll come to you.
Call a cat and it'll take a message and get back to you. Leave food outside. That's the best thing to do. I've known cats to be gone as long as a month.
Will you walk into my parlour? said the Spider to the Fly,
Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy; The way into my parlour is up a winding stair, And I've a many curious things to show when you are there. Oh no, no, said the little Fly, to ask me is in vain, For who goes up your winding stair -can ne'er come down again. |
