I have been doing a version out of Genii magizine by John Moehring. I really like this effect, and get a great response from it. But I would like to change it into a "snow" pour type of routine for a winter themed show I am doing, but I am drawing blank. I can't come up with a way, that makes sense, to originallly pour the snow into my hand, like having the salt shaker in the original form. If anyone has any suggestions on this, I would really appreciate the help.

What about using something round that looks like a child's
"snow globe" and pouring that "snow" into your hand? Maybe finish off with larger snowflake glitter (they sell this in stationery stores) or even a steal of a huge snowflake to produce? It might also be amusing to try to get the snow back into the shake-up snow-globe, just to have it overflow. In a silent act some holiday music from a music-box, with a sort of “tinkle” would be lovely. Just some casual brainstorming ideas, hope one helps! Magically, Walt |

Walt, that is just what I was looking for. This is why I love the Magic Café. I am going to the store tomorrow to look at snow globes. Thanks you so much for that informacion. I am also going to look into producing the big snowflakes at the end of the rountine too.
Thanks again, Rob Pond |
