What are the best books for business card magic?
I'm about to design some cards and want some ideas for gaffes that can be printed right in the cards for effects. I took printing in high school and had a lot of fun making business cards I could "swap" to create magical effects. Do any books deal with similar ideas? Or better ideas for stuff to do with a business card? |

DocMagic:
You've specified books on business card magic, which would exempt the DVD "Easy To Master Business Card Miracles" by Michael Ammar and Mark Wilson's "Easy to Do Business Card Magic" tape. Among my faves with biz cards: "Business Relocation" in David Regal's Close Up and Personal, Michael Close's "Pothole Trick" in the Complete Workers Series, and both "Flash Fold" and "Ultimate Rip-Off" in Paul Harris' Art of Astonishment, Volume 1. But without doubt the best stunner with the humble business card remains Sankey's "Power Lunch," found in Sankey Unleashed, which also contains the business card effect, Drew as I Drew. Take a card, any (business) card. . . Paul |

Gregory Wilson's 'Stockholder' has some great routines in it, all utilizing the business card holder included in the package. Hocus-Pocus carries it as well as, I imagine, other magic shops.

For a cool thing to do with a business card, I brazenly, shamelessly suggest looking in this thread.
Every problem contains the seeds of its own solution. Unfortunately every problem also contains the seeds of an infinite number of non-solutions, so that first part really isn't super helpful.

Oh, and just so I'm clear, which of these routines require the cards to be printed in a specific way?
I know Business Relocation doesn't, and that if you want your info to appear on the linked cards, Conjuntion does. Any tips on the others? Doc |
