Another person that could have come clean about JFK bites the dust. Hope he wrote something down somewhere, that would be cool.

First James Brown, now Ford...there should be one more to complete the cycle, because it always seems to happen in threes.

The reality is that accidents or tragedies occur randomly, not in groups of any particular size. The perception is that they occur in groups of three, mainly because people wait around till the third one occurs - whether it takes an hour or a day or a week - then say, "See?" |

Gerald Ford was the most modest U.S. President in my lifetime. He crossed party lines much, much better than most. And was a real asset to America.

"As a U. S. Congressman in 1966, Ford stuck his neck out and made the following statement after the U. S. Air Force declared the Michigan UFO Wave of 1966 could be explained as "swamp gas."
"In the firm belief that the American public deserves a better explanation than that thus far given by the Air Force, I strongly recommend that there be a committee investigation of the UFO phenomena. I think we owe it to the people to establish credibility regarding UFOs, and to produce the greatest possible enlightenment of the subject." |

I just watched Time and Chance: Gerald Ford's Appointment with History this evening on the twin cities public television. I've nothing but a great sense of respect and admiration for him. He was a great president with a sense of compassion, morality, honesty, civility and forgiveness. He healed America in times of great turmoil. President Gerald Ford, RIP.
