Was surfing around youtube and video google yesterday and happened upon these Fan Films of the Superman, Batman & Robin characters.
So just for fun I posted them on myspace at http://www.myspace.com/chris_robertson I have kids of different ages, all of whom watched these teaser trailers and thought these fan Films were going to be real movies...before I explained the concept to them they were begging me to take them to the movies to see these supposed new films! johnny

I've seen Dead End. Pretty well made.

I was shocked to see how wellmade these short films were and would actually like to see them made for real, I'm thinking for T.V.
I thought the Joker in Grayson looked and sounded very good. johnny

Those were pretty cool, are there any others?

Deadend would get my dollars any time. Excellent. (a bit too dark on my 'puter screen though)
Couldn't see the other two as they would not play. Nothing happened. But thanks for the link to Dead End. Truly some fine work being done. DC Comics edict is typical wrong headed thinking by lawyers with calculators programmed backwards. Idiots. Edit: Got others to work. Outstanding!

Re: Grayson...
Oh my God! Whoever made that film spent some real money and effort to put it together. I think it was brillaint. The actor playing Dick did a better job than any of hthe sanctioned versions that have been out there. (Burt Ward, Casey Kasem whoever else). Warner Bros. should take a minute to check it out and think.

That's the problem, the huge billion dollar movie studio (WB)is being shown up by small time amatures and the studio knows it. will they come to their senses, hell no!

Just saw all three of the "DC wannabe" flicks and was highly impressed. Makes me wonder if we should be looking for their creators' names on real movies in the future!
The idea of DC characters facing off against Alien and Predator looks strange, but would also be kind of cool. At least it would be a real challenge! The psychological interplay between Batman and Joker, being brought out into the open here, has always been at the heart of what makes these two so dangerous for each other. In World's Finest, this looks like a more mature interplay straight from the Superman and Batman Animated Series when they had both characters fighting Lex Luthor and the Joker. The combination of the Superman and Batman symbols at the end was really impressive. Grayson? What can possibly be said that hasn't already been expressed? This really was a great "What if" trailer. The idea of both Superman and Robin in a more mature setting post-batman really would be dark. For those who survive, the war would never be over. Superman with gray hair? Grayson with a wife and child? Who would have thunk it? But at least it would be much closer to reality. By the way, the coffin with the Batman symbol on it was an especially nice touch! The only question I have left is: Where can I go to be able to download these permanently to my computer?

Jim Carey and George Cloony, both Null, should have made Batman void but didn't...he lived to get a cool Urban Combat Vehicle.
The Batman/Predator fight books were choice. Love that Alien Costume too.

Actually, I liked Carey's Riddler, although the solution to the "riddles" was pulled out of thin air. And the end of the film dictated that Riddler / Two Face be aware that Batman would have a partner to put in the other tube when not only hadn't Batman accepted Dick Greyson as a partner, but Dick had <left> (And why the heck did he come back anyway?)
I think Tommy Lee Jones' Two Face was far weaker than Jim Carey's Riddler, and I <like> Tommy Lee Jones as a performer generally. But the script made his Two Face into little more than a scarred Joker. Can't help but agree with you on George Cloony though. I watched his performance and thought; "He's doing Adam West!" Kept watching and realized; "He's doing Adam West... badly!" Now <that> was tough!

OMG, the production values on those are incredible for fan films. As mentioned previouisly about the casting, even Jimmy Olsen was on target. Being a comic fan for a long time, I have seen some of the Batman/Superman crossovers as well as the Dark Horse Alien/Predator/Batman series and had always hoped that a major studio would look to the writers of these comics to do their screenplays. When I went to see Alien v. Predator movie, I was sorely disappointed, especially with the wealth of GOOD material in print. I had no idea there were these film shorts out there with this type of quality. If I was involved with a movie studio, I would be seeking these people out and paying them big bucks to do my next DC authorized film.
