Hey all, I have a question for those who care to answer. I own a suspension that has been sitting in my basement for 10 years. It's like the sword suspension but this one uses double sided axes. You have the three on a steel base and a board that rests across the top. You remove one axe, then the second, so you're left suspended on the top of one axe. It can hold me and I weigh around 170 lbs. It's really a nice prop. Has anyone heard of it, or know who makes it, or if it's still being made, etc. etc.? Any information will be appreciated. Thank guys.

You know if one of the axe "blades" could actually have an edge, the finale could be you planting it into a "log" at the end of the illusion.

This is published in Jack Hughes "World Of Magic Volume One". It is one of the variations of the three sword suspension. Other variations include using scimitars, candles, and the three axes. But for that matter one could dress the illusion as anything they wanted, such as cigars, sharpie markers, knitting needles, and for those who do adult [risque] large um. [use your imagination] They all work the same you just change the decor.
