Hey guys just wondering if anyone here could help me? I have a questions if anyone here could share with me if there is any footage of Houdini, Kellar, or Blackstone Sr.? I would like to see some of the greats perform but just don't know if the footage exist? I just got the History channel show on Houdini and loved it. I would love to see any old time greats. They don't have to be the magicians I mentioned but I would love to see some great stage performers card guys, etc..
Thanks, Bryan |

The Magic Castle has some film of many of the old greats. And the SAM also has an archive. Also several collectors.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

Try youtube.com then type in the name of the magician you wish to see. You'll be suprised to see how many magicians can be seen performing. Some of these greats include Blackstone, Thurston and Houdini. However, most of these film clips are rather short, i.e. 3 to 6 minutes in length.
Channing Pollack is my idea of the perfect magician. For those of you that have not seen him perform, I recommend trying to get hold of a video of an old movie called "European Nights" made about 1959.
I was able to buy this video from Stevens Magic |
