Hi there,
I have recently learnt how to juggle with clubs and I am progressing a lot with all of my juggling. I have been juggling for a year and a half now, and I can juggle 3 balls (very well), 4 balls (ok), 3 rings (good) and 3 clubs (ok). I am also interested in diablos and other sidelines from juggling. My question to you is what books, videos or DVDs can I get to help me progress in any of these fields? Any help would be most appreciated, but I am particularly looking for more advanced ball and club juggling tuition. Many thanks Magical Mark Watson (mark 1991)

What country do you live in? I'm going to assume England although Boston could be in the US. Dave Finnigan has two books that cover all aspects of juggling "the complete juggler" and "juggling from start to star". Also you could look for the closest juggling club to your home at http://www.jugglingdb.com Be sure to practice a little every day, measure your progress weekly, and find jugglers close to home to meet with. Find out where, and when there are regional conventions in your country, and go. Juggling is a male dominated sport so you will have to bring your own woman if you expect to get lucky. Al Angello

Hi there,
Thanks for the great advice! I live in Boston, England which is towards the far East of the country. My closest juggling clubs are not really all that close and I can't drive yet so it is a bit difficult for me to get to them, but I will try my best! Thanks for the response and keep the posts coming! Many thanks Magical Mark Watson (mark1991)

I'm not really familiar with the EJA, but if you can get a look at the EJA's roster there may be jugglers that live near you. Keep an eye out for regional juggling festivals, they will be worth traveling to, and always remember you must bring a date if you want a womans company, but then again in England you can rent a woman. Several years ago I lived in Spalding. There wasn't a juggling club anywhere near there so my wife and I founded one. Boston is likely to be the same, but there might be a few locals who have a little talent and would like to progress further so why not start your own club.

I knew a man who kept saying "pliers, pincers, scissors". He was speaking in tongs.

Hi there,
Thanks for your ideas Nigel! Is the Spalding club still open and running? I could probably get to that one from time to time. When did you move away from the area? Many thanks Magical Mark Watson (mark1991)
