Anyone handy with electrical stuff...
I have a 12 volt DV blower fan 0.32 Amps 3.86 Watts, the kind used as a case cooling fan for computers. I want to be able to create some kind of battery pack (preferably rechargable) capable of running two of these fans for an hour or so. Any suggestions, help, possibilities or resources you can point me to would be GREATLY appreciated!

You can use a small 12 volt car or boat battery Easy to recharge, but might be heavy. So look for the smallest one. A place like Auto Barn can help.

Smaller sealed lead acid batterys are available which would be better than a car or boat battery - try searching the net - the ones that I usually use are 12v 1.2amp/hours, one battery should power both fans for nearly two hours. Here in the UK they cost around £12 ($20?) each. (You need a charger also!)
You don't need any resistors or anything, just connect the red leads to the red (+) terminal and the black leads to the other. - if your fans have another lead (yellow usually), just cut it off! - The yellow lead is to allow the computer to monitor the fan and shut down if it fails - so you don't need it! |

Take a look at motorcycle batteries. Sealed lead acid and rather small.
