OK, if you didn't intend to produce a dove, and you have no other ideas on what to do with it.........why did you buy it?!
Sorry, I couldn't resist! Hopefully this is obvious to you, but you can produce whatever will fit into the pan. You could produce a little birthday cake, a pan full of candy to give to kids, popcorn, a rubber chicken, spring flowers, some Kenny Rogers cd's, etc etc Hope that gives you an idea or two! Chris |

How about a canary!!!
yeah.. yeah.. I know... too easy of a joke. OK, seriously... What about Rabbid? You can get it just about anywhere. I don't want to promote any particular magic shop... So here is a link from Murphys Magic, a supplier... http://www.murphysmagic.com/Rabbid-Large-Trick Randi |

Austini,
Dazzling magic has 'Cascading Jewels', 89 feet of beeads on a string. Makes a lot of noise and kids love the colorful visual effect. Max |

In the 80's when I was doing a lot of hotel shows, I produced a load of fresh pop-corn and left it with the closest table. It always seemed a welcomed surprise.

Small pets if you purchased the larger size. For example: Hamsters, mice, gerbils, chinchillas, hedge hog etc. You can also put in fake animals.

Austini,
You can purchase sponge items that are made specifically for dove pans.

Well how about a chicken?
In a funny way! This is how I have been using my dove pan, I say “NOW are you ready to see me make a beautiful white dove appear?” They all scream YEAH!! I hold the bottom of the pan and my pan has a button to startup flash paper, so I say “at the count of 3 we all say the magic word, Ready 1,,,,,2,,,,,,Three days ago I was doing this magic and the fire got so high that the dove almost got it, So I will cover the pan when you see the smoke ok, ready 1,,,,,,,2,,,,,,,3 Oh I saw the smoke “I quickly cover the pan and when I open it what folds out is a rubber chicken, I say oh no this is not a dove it’s a perdue chicken and when I go to pick it up I also pick up a rubber egg, so when I say oh no this is not a dove it’s a perdue chicken the egg drop to my hand below the chicken, then I go into my full routine of making a real dove appear. You can make a fake dove appear that can fly around the room, Check with Dove-Boy he may still be selling his. Good Luck, Maro
