I have searched the web up and down...w/o any luck

I am looking for steel/metal/or aluminum (strong) transport cages for my birds and parrots.

I seam to remember seeing someone on tv with one for his macaw.

does anyone know where I can find these? Or do I need to sit down design one and take it to a custom fab shop?

all you need to do is insert a perch that's big enough for the macaw going across and you can travel with it..

I would suggest you check with a racing pigeon club. My dad used these to transport his pigeons for a race. I still have a small carrier. They are made of aluminum and are indestructable. You might search on ebay or call a pigeon club.

I would think you would want the macaw in the cabin with you, if she could be quiet. Shipping her as cargo is quite risky. Good luck and I hope this helps.

It could be simple in car transport?

Unless you know from somewhere else that he's moving/travling far.

I couldn't find anything on Macky dog crates (under any spelling). If none of our suggestions work, why don't you contact a professional macaw breeder? They would be the experts and could tell you if what you are wanting exists. You could also ask Chesaday, because I think he travels with his macaws.
