I'm looking for the name of an actor/comedian who played in an episode of Night court.
He was a short fairly bald cross eyed man who had a rare condition that caused him to talk and move very slowly. He reminds me a bugs bunny cartoon where he races a turtle. Does anyone know who that actor was? Thanks. Ron Jaxon |

Hmm - not much to go on - do you remember the plot of the show? Here is a list of most of the actors that appeared on the series:

Yea. I looked at some of those lists but I can't find it. I don't remember anything about the episode but this one part. It was a very long time ago.
Thanks. Ron Jaxon |

After relaxing my mind and running through all the episodes in my mind I remember the episode.
Dan is told by a stunning brunnette that she will meet him at midnight and basically f' his brains out. The judge said they would have to run through everone by midnight so they rushed through everyone (it was very funny) and throughout the woman would show up in the court to show Dan photos or a whip or other such device. The last guy gets up and the judge asks him to explain his case and it is the guy Ron is talking about and he talks very slowly. Midnight passes and the local bum goes off with the girl. Tada! |

Actually, the slow talking guy goes off with the girl, with her saying something to the effect of prefering someone who takes their time, if I remember right.
And that isn't the first time stuff went awkward for Dan and that woman... Apparently they interacted previously, but he ended up getting some sort of amnesia (or was drunk, or something) and had zero memory of it. (or am I confusing her with someone else?) |

Ok,
he was also in back to the future part 2. He is the high schooll guy who says to the crowd (after marty mc fly senior punches biff out) " Did you just steal his wallett... (marty jr runs away after saying he "knows" cpr and punches biff again) "I think he took his wallett" name..no idea! Justin N. Miller |

The episode from 1988 is called Another Day In The Life. The woman was available at midnight, the reason they had to finish by midnight was to win a bet. Here is your problem, that episode had more people on it than any other, good luck.````````````````````````````````

Huh? I thought they had to finish at midnight because the courts were backed up or something, and any pending case not processed by midnight would just be dismissed? Dan was in a rush because she was about to fly out somewhere.

That is the guy! Teamwork!
I went by the episode guide. All I remember is the gal and Dan freaking out and this guy being the last person on the list and being so slow. |

Here is the description from the episode guide:
In another "day in the life" episode, the court staff has to finish 207 cases by midnight. If they do, the 207th defendant, a Texas millionaire with a gambling compulsion, will pay the money to save an orphanage from foreclosure. Night Court is my favorite show. |

They are blending. We need a Night Court marathon to keep it straight.

I also remember that Dan made a mad dash of reading to case against the last defendent in order to clear out the docket. He didn't miss a beat and, I think, barely met the deadline.
I thought there was some sort of funding crisis in New York that made them hurry up or that some group was about to go on strike.

Night Court and Cheers were my favorite shows in the 80's...I wanted to be just like Harry Anderson and I already had two fedoras to help me along the way due to my idol worship of Indiana Jones, hehehe, my Mom & Dad went to the Calgary Stampede in Canada and even bought me a real bullwhip. By the time I was 14 yrs old I could hit a cigarette from a persons mouth like 4 out of 10 times...the times I'd miss I'd hit the person in the face, me and my friend took turns.

Between Night Court and Taxi, I had some splendid times back then. Thanks for the memories!
