Yes I do know my triggers and AVOID them like the plague. So did you listen to that audio. I had to heavily sedate myself and I THEN listened to the whole thing BUT keeping busy so I wasn't like "Listening Intently" to it. Are you my friend a Hypnotist? Thanks, Ed, (Eddini).

I did listen to the audio but not 'intently'. I'm not a hypnotist but I am interested in hypnosis. On the rare occaisions I do get panic attacks they are triggered by a sudden shock, such as a very loud noise or being woken up from a deep sleep very suddenly. I don't have a specific fear but an intense feeling of heightened alertness to the point of feeling overwhelmed by the sensations around me. When it happens I need to use 'hypnosis-style' techniques to bring myself back to normal (so to speak).
