Hi all!
This has been already posted in the beginners area, my apologies!Looking like crazy for the "Unfaked book test" from Val Andrews, I've read somewhere that I could buy it from Mr Andrews himself, but I also heard that the poor man passed away last october...Any idea? Thanks in advance, Gilles

Copies pop up on eBay every once in a while, but it's pretty hard to get hold of (and expensive.)
As an alternative impromptu, ungimmicked book test that's more readily available, you can look at Josh Zandman's 'IBT', Richard Busch's solution in Peek Performances and the venerable 'Hoy Book Test'.

Ian recommends it but doesn't sell it; he refers you to the late Val Andrews.

Get it anyway - I did - and I got a nice letter from Val Andrews - talk about the charms of pre-internet communication! It went into my collector's section at once!

Doesn't Davenports sell it? Seem to recall they have at one point in time.

Richard Busch's book "peek performances" has an impromptu book test that can be done with any book. I perform it all the time and because I emphasize key points the only thing my spectators remember is that they thought of a word from THEIR book and I revealed it. I recommend "Peek Performances"
