I am looking for a small (able to fit in the hand) model of A Rack, the medieval torture device. I have seen desktop versions of guillotines and catapults and whatnot, but I specifically need a Rack. No, it doesn't have to work, it just has to look like one. Does anyone know where I might find one? Thanks.

What scale are you looking for?
I can't imagine it would be hard to construct. Gwyd |

I didn't know Miniature Torture Devices came in different scales?
I'm thinking about 6 or 7 inches in length(insert your own joke about stretching it to make a longer one), just big enough to fit into the palm of the hand and yet people can easily identify what it is. No, it wouldn't be difficult to construct...if I were a craftsman, which I'm not. Brain surgery wouldn't be difficult to perform either...if I were a brain surgeon, which I'm not. Me making one is pretty much out of the question. It would look like a pile of sticks.

If you go to a "gaming store", the kind that sell the little metal figures for the Dungeons and Dragons type games, you can buy the whole toture chamber set, including a Rack, and Iron maiden, etc.(google under gaiming miniatures. (No, you cannot have mine!) It will set you back maybe $8 US. You will have to paint it, or lask who at the store would paint it for you for a couple bucks, but acrylic paint will work, just be sure it is scrubbed off with some nail polish remover to de-grease it first.

Ooh...Good call K.
Might be a bit small for his purposes though. I know they do show up with other dollhouse miniatures every now and then on E-bay, but I haven't seen any recently. I'll keep poking around. Gwyd |

I think my little one is about 3 or so inches long by about an inch and half wide, and tall. a small bit of jewelery chain sets it off nicely!
