Does anyone know where can I get those material that amoz leckovich use in his centre tear routine where he lights the torn part with a match and a puff of smoke appears?
then I saw some other magician burns a piece of flash cord and I noticed a small bundle tied on the cord itself. when it burns to that bundle a nice big puff of smoke appears to cover some productions.

I know it is hard to get gun powder in Malaysia, but you can still obtain the gunpowder from those fire crackers - they work the same. Unwind the wrapping of those crakers until you see the powder. Keep them in a dry glass container. Just wrap them up with flash paper, whenever you want a puff of smoke or youcan place them on any igniter to get a puff of smoke coming from bare hands.

NOOO!!! Don't hold them in your hand...unwrap them first!
When you unwrap them, you get down to the gunpowder inside and the fuse that normally sticks out the top. Scrape out the gunpowder and throw away the wrapping paper and the fuse. The main thing is...be CAREFUL!!! Mark. |

Fire crakers go boom because they are compressed. But you still need to be careful with the gun powder that are scrapped from within. The only thing is - try not to store them in a very compressed way like a fire cracker.
If you are a smoker, try not to smoke when you are preparing the gun powder with the flash paper. Dangerous things can happen. |

Hi Jimmy & Alex
Great to see you posted here I have been using the PHOTO AB POWDER from Theatre effects...it will create a puff of White Smoke & bright flashes when the paper burns...very very soft to no noise....very good. I uses this chemical for my Vanishing Dove Carousel gimmick many years back. Hope this helps dove-boy |

You can roll the flash string in the gunpowder then glue it to the Neil Foster newspaper tear.DO NOT USE RUBBER CEMENT..The only problem is you must make up many tears or buy them from Abbott's.It is like learning torn and restored card.Minimum 100 decks be for performing it...Cordially,Howard
