My brother loves home theatres and he recently converted our garage into a mini cinema. Well, the other day I found myself using the “imagine yourself in an empty theatre… now write your thoughts on this slip…”
Since we have a 190” screen that is also connected to a pc (hidden in the last row), I started thinking about how I could use this to create a fun little effect. If anyone has any presentational ideas, I would love to hear them. Thanks again in advance… |

Ive heard of garage music - but garage mentalism????
Seriously though, I adapted Andi Gladwin's "People Power", which featured in Magic magazine a couple of years ago, to a Powerpoint presentation. The method of making it all happen cannot be discerned by watching spectators - but you do have to be adept at constructing a Microsoft Powerpoint. And what about Lior Manor's "Knights Tour" effect? Ideal for your needs I'd say? Sounds good - how many does it take to 'sell-out' your garage? |

You could also do a movie prediction, and as the revelation have someone hit play to start the predicted/chosen film.

Didn't Angel do a PK Touches routine using shadows? Of course, you would not want to bite his routine, but could move a TK Timber/PK Pen or something along those lines.

Thank you so much for the reply, I like the powerpoint idea.
Currently, we have seating for 14. I have not done any presentations yet, but the layout is perfect. We watch many movies and always have people over (most have seen a few effects and really enjoy the presentations). I love to perform and I want to take advantage of the situation. Again, I thank you |

My thoughts are of Larry and Lee's Double Feature.
Personally, I love the piece. |

I've heard (through the grapevine?) that those guys are really good in using effects that combo laser discs, big plasma screens and Mentalism. But, I tell you, if you don't get'em while they are in very good mood... they won't talk. Trust me. I know it goes that way with them (and Alice knows too).

Lior's Knight's Tour is perfect for this kind of presentation, most modern laptops have ports to connect to plasmas and you could add in a wireless mouse for your spectator.
When you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth...

I am in a good mood right now.
Alice is gone and I am running wild for the next fifteen minutes. Jim Click here to view attached image.
